We offer care from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm daily. We will have 5 day, 3 day, and 2 day options.

Art Beast Studio preschool
We offer full and part time care to toddlers and preschoolers. The center is located at 2226 K Street in midtown Sacramento. Our center offers a community of children, parents, and teachers engaged in play based learning that values child choice, social justice, culturally competent curriculum, and the natural world. Our program brings great intention to ensuring children are provided learning experiences, role models, and literature that portray all gender identities equally as protagonists and as people who can be brave, adventurous, heroic, gentle, loving, mischievous, and spirited.

The foundations for literacy, attention giving, social interaction, self-regulation, mathematical and scientific reasoning, and motor development are developed in child directed explorations of the world. It is the responsibility of the early childhood educator to send a child into their elementary years with a strong sense of competency, an excitement to learn, and a body that has developed the feedback systems and the muscles to listen, to write, to manipulate supplies, and to focus. Our teachers study each child and bring in the activities that best develop these skills.

What are the ages of children served?
We can serve children two years old through six years old.
Does my child have to be toilet trained to enroll?
Nope! We completely support and respect each child’s timeline on reaching this BIG milestone. As with all development, it happens on individual timelines. It’s not a race and the age of mastery is not an indicator of anything other than a child’s own readiness to take that step. Our role is to be in communication with families and support the journey for each child.
Will you offer half day care?
We are only offering full day care at this time. We DO offer 2, 3, and 5 day options. Priority is given to 5 day enrollment.

do you offer meals?
We ask our families to send their child’s meals. We find that this best accommodates each child’s preferences, health, and nutrition needs. We do provide nutritious snacks to supplement meals from home.
