Beastie Song Circle

Come raise your voice and wiggle at our Beastie Song Circle. Lida will play a variety of sing-a-long classics and original tunes as children and their grown ups join in to create a magical morning of song.

Lida Husik grew up in Washington, DC, and began playing music at an early age.  She was a solo artist on a few record labels in the 1990s, and continues to compose and record music for adults, children and especially striped cats.  Lida got her BFA at the Corcoran School of Art, and worked in art conservation at the Library of Congress for several years before coming out to beautiful California in 2007.  She hopes to integrate art, movement and composing with the kids, along with a smidgen of music theory.
